Graduates of the faculty of economics are among the most popular in the labor market, with the lowest unemployment rate – 1.1 %. Graduates work in middle and senior management.

The faculty’s work is based on a 60-year tradition of teaching teachers in the South Bohemian region. At the faculty, you can study pedagogy with a specialization in IT, foreign languages, physical culture, ecology or psychology.

Faculty of fisheries and water conservation

It is one of the most modern educational institutions in the whole of Europe, training specialists in fishing, management and environmental protection in the Czech Republic and Europe. The faculty has experimental equipment for studying aquaculture, hydrobiology, toxicology, fish diseases, reproduction, genetics, and fish breeding.

The faculty studies biblical sciences, practical theology, philosophy, ethics and church history.

It is the second largest faculty of the University of South Bohemia and one of the few in the Czech Republic that specializes in medical and social issues.
