Comprehensive training program
Description of preparatory courses
The courses are designed to provide Russian-speaking applicants with language training to enable them to pass entrance exams in Czech and continue their studies at a university in Czech.
Students acquire the necessary knowledge of Czech grammar and vocabulary, including specialized terminology (depending on the chosen specialty), master conversational skills, and acquire the written and oral presentation skills necessary for university studies.
Why do you need an annual course?
To enroll and continue studying at the university, you need to know Czech at the B2 level (according to CEFR).
To reach the B2 level in Czech according to the methodology, you need 800 lessons.
Since Czech is very similar to Russian, students often mistakenly assume that they will be able to learn Czech in a few months. Indeed, they begin to read and understand a lot quite quickly. However, in order to communicate freely and study at university, it is necessary to spend a long time consolidating your knowledge of grammar and vocabulary and practising every day.
If short-term courses set the goal of “reaching level B2,” the material is taught very concisely or superficially. If grammar and vocabulary are not properly worked out and reinforced, students make many mistakes that are difficult to get rid of.
To prepare for admission, you can choose Czech language courses without special subjects (prepare for subjects on your own) or a comprehensive program (Czech language + special subjects).
